Description

Join us in London to celebrate the launch of the GRI Tax Standard (GRI 207: Tax 2019).

The GRI Tax Standard was developed in response to growing calls for increased tax transparency. Stakeholders of all sorts – investors, government, civil society, media and others – are seeking more and better information on tax. GRI 207 seeks to improve the tax reporting and transparency of companies, supporting a more informed public debate on corporate taxation and contributes to policy and investment decisions. Using the GRI Tax Standard will ensure responsible businesses respond to the needs of stakeholders, demonstrate their commitment to the communities where they operate and highlight their contribution to global sustainable development.

The GRI Tax Standard is the first global sustainability standard for public country-by-country reporting on tax. It represents best practice for public reporting on tax and is freely provided as a common good to all stakeholders.

GRI 207 is available on the GRI Standards website here.
